THE TEAM
Rick Deering
Rick has had a wealth of senior management experience in construction, insurance and property. He knows about buildings, risk and property management.
For 7 years Rick was the Victorian General Manager for SSKB, a large national strata manager based in Queensland. Rick built the Victorian business virtually from scratch and his management portfolio boasted some of Melbourne’s iconic buildings.
In addition Rick worked with major property developers to assist in bringing their new projects to fruition which in turn lead to the management of the Owners Corporations.
In 2014 he branched out on his own creating Fawkner May as a niche Owners Corporation Manager to service the needs of Owners Corporations and Property Developers in inner Melbourne and the CBD. Rick now manages over 2000 lots in Melbourne alone.
Together with Eugene Cheng, a Melbourne entrepreneur, they started Peak Strata to provide affordable yet innovative solutions to common problems presented in most Owners Corporations today.
Eugene Cheng
Eugene is a young but experienced entrepreneur with Bachelors in both Business and Law. At just the age of 31, he is also a qualified solicitor and a serial entrepreneur who is dedicated to applying his unique skillsets to ordinarily un-innovative industries to generate positive results for the end consumers.
Since becoming a committee member at multiple apartment complexes, he noticed a glaring need for honest and effective Owners Corporation managers.
Achievements/qualifications:
- Created Australia's first sneaker cleaning store in 2017. The Sneaker Laundry has since been featured across every national press outlet.
- Owns a hospitality group spanning across nightclubs, wedding venues and more.
- Eugene has been featured as an entrepreneur by: City of Melbourne, The Age, Herald Sun, 7 news, News.com.au, ABC, SBS, 3AW, Daily Mail, Business News Australia and many more.
Amanda Wang
Amanda has over six years experience working in the Residential Building Management industry, and another 2 years in the Real Estate and property management industry. She has managed some of Melbourne’s most iconic residential high-rise buildings together with the Senior Building Manager, the Owners Corporation Management and the Owners Corporation Committees in dealing with many issues faced by people living in multi-use high rise buildings. Amanda has a special interest in the Owners Corporation Management industry and she is now working as the Assistant Owners Corporation Manager at Peak Strata with the Senior Owners Corporation Management team to continually delivering the highest of standards. With expertise in Owners Corporation Management, Peak Strata’s excellence in providing services tailored to our client’s needs has created our reputation for reliability and attention to details.
